DESCRIPTION:What is a Tenebrae Service? \n Tenebrae means darkness\, gloom\, shadows. On this night we gather to remember.  We open our hearts and minds to relive the pain and victory which have become for us the doorway to the eternal.  We recognise the shadows which encroach on every life and meditate on that one moment in history when the shadows seemed to extinguish the light entirely.  This is done through a series of readings\, responses\, silent reflection and prayer designed to help us enter more deeply into the meaning of Good Friday.

DESCRIPTION:*PLEASE NOTE: This service is on Saturday!* \nWhy are we meeting on Saturday instead of Sunday?\nThe Two Oceans Ultra Marathon is being held on Easter Sunday (instead of Saturday) and as a result of all the road closures that will occur in Hout Bay\, we’ve had to think a little outside of the box. \nThis service will start at 4:30pm with a picnic inside the hall.  Hot chocolate will be provided.  Bring your own picnic and settle in for a time of fellowship and fun!  Worship\, puppets and an Easter Celebration will start at 5pm.
