Core Value: God-aligned Identity

We are people who live from God’s love and grace. We know who He says we are and we live from that reality. We know that we are powerful people, who are all significant and have worth.

  • Need for mandate

John 3:3

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

  • Like Christ

Ephesians 5:1-2

Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are His dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ.  He loved us and offered Himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.

Colossians 3:10

For you have acquired new creation life which is continually being renewed into the likeness of the One who created you; giving you the full revelation of God.

Romans 8:30

And having chosen them, He called them to come to Him. And having called them, He gave them right standing with Himself. And having given them right standing, He gave them His glory.

Romans 8:9

But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to Him at all.)

Galatians 5:22-23

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives; love joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. There is no law against these things!

  • Royalty / Priests

1 Peter 2:9

But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light. He did this so that you would broadcast His glorious wonders throughout the world.

Ephesians 2:6

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.

  • Authority

Matthew 28:18-19

Jesus came and told His disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Luke 10:19

Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.

  • Power

Acts 1:8

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere – in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Ephesians 1:19-21

I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted Him to the place of highest honour and supreme authority in the heavenly realm! And now He is exalted as first above every ruler, authority, government, and the realm of power in existence! He is gloriously enthroned over every name that is ever praised, not only in this age, but in the age that is coming!

  • Victorious / Overcomer

Romans 8:37

Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and His demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything!

  • Provision

Ephesians 1:3

Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus – all because He sees us wrapped into Christ. This is why we celebrate Him with all our hearts!

Philippians 4:19

I am convinced that my God will fully satisfy every need you have, for I have seen the abundance riches of glory revealed to me through the Anointed One, Jesus Christ!

  • Free

John 8:36

So if the Son sets you free from sin, then become a true son and be unquestionably free!

  • Righteous / Saints

2 Corinthians 5:21

For God made the only one who did not know sin to become sin for us, so that we who did not know righteousness might become the righteousness of God through our union with Him.

1 Corinthians 1:2

To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours.

  • Old and New

Galatians 2:20

Luke 9:23

And He said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

Ephesians 4:22-24

Throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God – truly righteous and holy.

Galatians 5:24-25

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to His cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.

  • Love

1 John 4:15-21

All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in His love.

God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face Him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.

Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced His perfect love. We love each other because He loved us first.

If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see? And He has given us this command: Those who love God must also love others.

Colossians 2:10

And our own completeness is now found in Him. We are completely filled with God as Christ’s fullness overflows within us. He is the Head of every kingdom and authority in the universe!

Proverbs 20:21-22

Under three things the earth trembles; under four it cannot bear up:

a slave when he becomes king, and a fool when he is filled with food;
